Jama KalamkariShawl

Bands of buta and flowers run the full length of this long shawl in amber red and gold on a black ground. Over two to three months every line was drawn with the kalam and every colour laid in by hand so no two butas are quite alike. A deep patterned end of large butas gives way to plain black and it falls beautifully whenever the shawl is draped. Worn here over cream and left to pool at the feet the Pashmina feels warm and very light. Bring it out on cold evenings and keep it for the ones who come after.
