A black Pashmina woven all over in kani flowers of rose · teal and saffron with a gold edge

The flowers are not embroidered — they are woven into the cloth on the loom with small wooden kani bobbins, one colour at a time, so the black ground blooms in rose, teal, saffron and green from edge to edge, finished with a fine gold border. Wrapped close or held open, the field is the whole story.
